The
Champ's IPO: 10-1 odds on a Best of 7 Series
The
Champ is taking open challenges from the public for a One on One Best
of Seven Series. Play for fun and get your picture posted on CTC, or
lay down a bet between 10$ and 100$ and walk away with up to 1000$!
On
top of that, if you win, the Champ will cover all your travel expenses
incurred enroute to The Arena in Hoboken, NJ.
Now the Champ is a hell of a player, but there are some great reasons
to take The Champ up on his challenge:
- 10-1
is an outrageous line for Beirut, just win one time out of 11
and you break even.
- The
Champ is beatable.
- The
Champ has never played for $1000 before, he'll likely get nervous
with that kind of money on the line.
- The
Champ is the proverbial hometown hero. His Beirut trails have
rarely taken him outside of Bucknell University and Hoboken.
His skills might only be mediocre where you play, and he wouldn't
even know it.
- If
the Champ loses a few of these challenges he'll be forced to
close up shop before you get your share of his cash.

The Champ's 10-1 offer is only available for series played at The
Arena in Hoboken in accordance with these rules
and regulations. If you see The Champ somewhere else, feel free
to challenge him, he'll likely offer you the same 10-1 deal (maybe even
better odds if he's seen you play) though he isn't obligated. The Champ's
10-1 offer is also a one time offer only. After playing you the Champ
reserves the right to change his offer for future matches.
